Katherine S. Goodner
Biography
Kati is a Knoxville native and graduated with honors from Wake Forest University in 2008 with a B.A. in English and minors in Italian and International Studies. During her time at Wake Forest, Kati spent significant time abroad, primarily in Italy, where she received a research grant to study the role of women in Italy in the 13th and 14th centuries. After graduating from Wake Forest, she returned to Knoxville to attend the University of Tennessee College of Law, where she was named a University of Tennessee Law Scholar, graduating with high honors in 2011. During her time in law school, Kati spent two and a half years as a research assistant for Professor Amy Morris Hess’ work on the treatise “Bogert’s Trust and Trustees” and was very involved with the Law Women organization, where she served as President and Philanthropy Chair. Kati also spent three years as an LSAT and GMAT instructor with a national test prep corporation.
Kati joined the firm in 2011 and lives in Knoxville with her husband, Nathan.
