J. Scott Griswold
Biography
J. Scott Griswold graduated with high honors from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee earning degrees in accounting and political science. While pursuing his undergraduate degrees he interned with Merrill Lynch & Co. in Washington, D.C. He received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2007. During law school, he served as Chairman of the Moot Court Board and as a member of the Trademark Moot Court Team. He was elected to the Order of the Barristers and received awards for academic excellence in Advanced Property and Trial Practice. His writings have been published in Transactions, the Tennessee Bar Journal and the Fordham Journal of Corporate & Financial Law. He interned with two federal magistrate judges in Knoxville during law school and after graduation served as a law clerk to Chief Justice William M. Barker of the Tennessee Supreme Court. Scott joined the firm in September of 2008 and resides in Fountain City, Tennessee with his wife Sarah.
