Wynne du M. Caffey Hall
Biography
Wynne du Mariau Caffey Hall received her undergraduate degree, with highest honors, in 1986 from The University of Tennessee, followed by her law degree, with honors, in 1991. While a student at the College of Law she was a member of the national champion trial team and now teaches periodically as an adjunct professor of trial practice at The University Of Tennessee College Of Law. She has been licensed in Tennessee since 1991 and in Texas since 1992. She is a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel, the American Trial Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association and the Tennessee Bar Association, including the Small Firms and Solo Practitioners Section of the TBA. She serves as the 2010 President of the East Tennessee Lawyers Association for Women and Chair of the CLE Committee for the statewide organization, Tennessee Lawyers Association for Women. She is a member of the Knoxville Bar Association and several of its committees, including the Unmet Legal Needs of Children, Membership, Functions, Work/Life Balance and the Interprofessional Relations Committee, which she co-chaired for many years. She has frequently been a guest lecturer to graduate level students at The University of Tennessee and has given seminars to her colleagues and other professional groups on issues ranging from medical malpractice, Medicare Appeals, negotiations and ethics. Her practice is exclusively in litigation in a broad range of fields including medical malpractice, products liability, personal injury, employment discrimination and insurance defense. She has two teenage children to whom she is devoted.
