Daniel C. Headrick

Biography

Daniel C. Headrick joined the firm in August of 2007 and practices civil litigation in a variety of areas. He litigates trade secret and non-compete matters in employment litigation for both employees and employers. Daniel has defended clients engaged in pharmaceutical litigation, products liability, personal injury, property damage, and other tort claims. On behalf of plaintiffs, he regularly litigates matters involving materialmen's liens, fraud and Tennessee Consumer Protection Act cases, home construction, and personal injury cases.

Daniel received his undergraduate and master's degrees in Religious Studies from the University of Tennessee in 2000 and 2003 respectively. As a master's student, he wrote a thesis on early Christianity, won a graduate student teaching award, and graduated with highest honors. While a student at the University of Tennessee College of Law, he was active in Law Review and twice served as a member of the National Moot Court team. He was elected to the Order of Barristers and the Order of the Coif and received several awards in recognition of his moot court work. He graduated from the College of Law with highest honors in May of 2007.

He is also an adjunct professor of Contract Drafting for the University of Tennessee College of Law.

Daniel lives in Knoxville with his wife, Jenney, his daughter, Mary Frances, and son, Joseph.
